After installing google apps, how do i upgrade the google apps???

Log in to Play Store. Then when sync completed. Open Play Store. Press menu button and tap on My Apps. You will see a list of installed apps and update option.

I could not get this update to install from my sd card. The tablet rebooted but it failed to load the necessary files. Please Help.
